All About Loop Mode: Recording, Overdubbing, and ClearingUpdated 10 hours ago
Orchid's looper is a powerful tool for building up ideas on the fly.
Entering Loop Mode: Push or turn the Loop Dial.
Setting Loop Length: Turn the Loop Dial to select a sync mode.
BPM Mode: Choose a set length (1, 2, 4, 8, or 16 bars) that syncs to the master BPM.
Free Mode: Record a loop of any length, which stops when you tell it to.
Recording: Press the Loop Dial to start. In BPM mode, you'll get a 1-bar count-in.
Overdubbing: Once a loop is recorded and playing back, select Overdub from the menu to add new layers.
Undo/Clear: While playing back, you can select Undo to remove the last layer you recorded. If you undo all layers, the option changes to Clear, which will erase the entire loop.
