With v3.60, Orchid now includes pre-programmed drum loops, giving you instant rhythmic inspiration while composing. Use these loops to build your chords, melodies, and basslines around a solid, dynamic backbeat.

To access Drum Loops:

1. Press and hold the BPM encoder to open the Groove Selection Menu.

2. Turn the encoder to browse through the available loops - from modern hip-hop and contemporary disco, to a sultry bossa nova or more electronic-inspired beats.

3. Press the encoder to confirm your selection and start the loop.

Each groove is tempo-sync’d to your project’s BPM and can be freely adjusted or switched while playing. Whether you’re sketching ideas or laying down a finished track, simply choose the beat that fits your tune.
