Exploring Performance Modes: Arp, Strum, Pattern, and MoreUpdated 10 hours ago

Performance Modes are the key to adding movement and life to your chords. Access them by pressing the Performance Dial, turning to select a mode, and turning again to adjust the mode's parameter (like speed or pattern number).

  • Strum / Strum 2 Octaves: Mimics the strum of a guitar by playing the notes of your chord in a quick, staggered succession from low to high. Strum 2 Octaves creates a wider, more dramatic effect.

  • Slop: Similar to Strum, but introduces slight timing imperfections to humanize the performance, making it sound less robotic.

  • Arpeggiator / Arpeggiator 2 Octaves: Breaks your chord into a sequence of individual notes played one after another. The more notes in your chord (including extensions), the longer the arpeggio sequence will be. All timing is synced to the master BPM.

  • Pattern: Plays the notes of your chord in a variety of pre-determined rhythmic sequences. Unlike the arpeggiator, the rhythm stays consistent even if you change the number of notes in the chord.

  • Harp: Creates a fast, sweeping cascade of notes up through multiple octaves, perfect for dramatic flourishes.
